Haslemere, Hindhead and Grayshot have a unique collection of significant Arts and Crafts buildings. One of these, Hindhead Court, the Royal School, is currently under threat due to a live planning application. Hindhead Court is an important early 20th century building that provides an almost intact example of a house of the Arts and Craft Movement which was prevalent in southwest Surrey during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Surrey Historic Buildings Trust believes that this exceptional undesignated heritage asset should be protected for future generations.
